Dr. Siamak Tabib is a Board-Certified Gastroenterologist and Hepatologist with a private practice in the Beverly Hills/West Los Angeles area. His expertise has been showcased on CBS News, ABC News, Fox News, Beverly Hills-213 Magazine, US World & News, and Voice of America. Dr. Tabib has repeatedly received the Best Doctor award by SuperDoctors.com. He has also won the Vitals Patients’ Choice Award and Vitals On-Time Doctor Award many times. He currently serves as Assistant Clinical Professor of Medicine at UCLA.
A graduate of UCLA, Dr. Tabib also received his medical degree from the UCLA Geffen School of Medicine. He completed his internship and residency in Internal Medicine at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, and his fellowship in Gastroenterology and Hepatology at the combined UCLA/Cedars-Sinai medical program.
Dr. Tabib has authored countless peer reviewed articles and textbook chapters and has an extensive research background in the field of digestive diseases. He has presented and been a panelist at national and international medical and healthcare conferences.
Dr. Tabib is the co-founder and managing member of multiple healthcare entities including La Peer Health Systems, BluFrog Path Lab Solutions, PathMD and Specialized University Pathologists. He sits on the advisory board for Angel City Sports, a non-profit entity dedicated to expanding opportunities in adaptive sports for children and adults with physical disabilities.
As a practicing gastroenterologist, Dr. Tabib has extensive experience with patients who suffer the debilitating effects of inflammatory bowel disease. His goal is to continue to help his patients and others through innovative research focused on natural remedies that can rival the pharmaceutical drugs currently available. True to his goal, he helped found MDbio, which is advancing this mission.
